The Thrill of Victory

The only way that I will ever make it to the Olympics is if I can compete in events such as:  wrestling for the last pair of Ferragamo's, sucking in my stomach enough to get the zipper up on my skinny jeans or last but not least, running to the bar after last call has been announced.  So, since these will  never be events, I might as well distract everyone with these Olympic favorites.  I may never get on a podium to accept an Olympic medal but I will look like champ!  (Shoes by www.loriblu.it these are a very limited edition from Italy)

Good vs Evil

The battle between Good vs Evil has been around since the dawn of time. Do you go for the cute shoe (GUESS, Tabina Slingback Platform Pumps) or the hot one (Bebe Shoes, Kahlilia Platform Pumps)? It's like trying to pick between wholesome Mary Ann or the sexy Ginger (Gilligan's Island). Or having to decide between Team Edward with his dark brooding persona or Team Jacob who is so caring and considerate. Do you go for what's good for you, or do you go for what's GOOD for you?

People are always asking me "Cha Cha!  How do you get your legs to look so fabulous?!"  And my response is always the same. . . "I workout!" (sing that response like the LMFAO song)  I participate in 5ks, 10ks, half marathons and triathlons.  Sometimes I think I have more workout equipment than shoes. (GASP!  Say it ain't so!!)  This photo only shows some of what I own (road bike, helmet, goggles, 2 wetsuits - the list goes on).   What you don't see in this picture are the multiple injuries, broken bones, sore muscles and the rest of me.  Yes, I may have fabulous legs but the rest of me looks like Mrs. Potato head!  So if you got great legs flaunt them.  Flaunt whatever it is that you love about yourself and just enjoy life. MMMmmm Cupcakes

MMMMM cupcakes, forget about taking the cake I’d rather lick the frosting all day long especially cupcakes with extra frosting and sprinkles for that little extra fun!  When I look at these shoes they remind me of strawberry cupcakes with vanilla frosting...the little gold studs on the front remind me of shiny sprinkles.  There is nothing better than being covered with frosting and ....Whew!  That’s what happens when you re-read 50 Shades of Grey while watching Cupcake Wars....Damn I need help!!!

True Blood

It’s finally back!  True Blood!  It’s the show that leaves us wanting more....or wanting to stake someone.  The show that saves us money on hot water bills because everyone needs a cold shower after every episode.  In the battle between seductive vampires, sexy werewolves and coquettish fairies, I wish someone would bite me so I can join any team.  (Shoes are Carlos Santana purchased a few years back at Macys.)

Memorial Day Weekend!

Happy Mother's Day to all the women out there.  A few tips for those of you still wondering what to get your mom this Sunday.  Don't get her a new vacuum, or a gag gift or even worse a washer/dryer.  Get her something she wants.  I'm sure she has been hinting.  Whether it's a gift certificate to a day spa or a copy of 50 Shades of Grey and a bottle of Jack.  Get it!!  Lord knows she deserves it.  She cooks, cleans, nutures and sacrifices every bit of her life to make sure her kids and family are doing their best.  So look around the house because I'm sure there are a few dog eared catalogs laying around.

I'm Running Away From Home!

A Perfect Match!

Green with Envy!

Why is the Statue of Liberty green?  It's not because she is coated with a thin layer of copper, which turns green with age due to chemical reactions between metal and water. By the way, this process is known as patination and occurs with most copper when it's placed outside.  (Yes, I know what you're thinking...Great legs and smart!)  Anyway, as I digress.  Lady Liberty is green with envy!  What is the use of being put on a pedestal when you are stuck wearing birkenstocks for all eternity!  She would would give it all up if she was wearing these fabulous shoes by Vince Camuto!  Don't forget to like and share the page!

March Madness

The only thing I love more than shoes, is basketball.  Ok, I may not love anything more than shoes but I sure love basketball!  So when March Madness comes around every year, the college level championship tournament, I stress out for days reading stats, studying facts etc to complete my bracket.  But when all else fails and I'm not sure who to pick to win, I pick the team with the nicest uniform!  If there was ever a tournament that featured a team wearing this Fuschia color, it would be the easiest bracket ever to complete.  (Shoes are by Madden Girl.  Style is Toriie in Fuschia.  Purchased at one of my favorite stores:  Marshalls!)

Walk of Shame. . . .

We've all been there.  You go out with a some friends for a few drinks.  You meet someone.  You have a few drinks with this someone and then a few more drinks.  Next thing you know it's 7a.  Your trying to figure out how you got into this bedroom and how your going to get back home in a respectable manner.  So if you're going to do a walk of shame, hopefully you're wearing a pair of shoes likes these to distract everyone from the fact that you're wearing the outfit from last night and that you reak of alcohol and shame. Rage Against the Machine

As you know, times are tough.  You hear the stories every day.  We're in a recession and many are not working.  Job prospects go down and unemployment keeps going up.  Getting a job or even keeping the one you have may involve selling out to the "man".  These shoes are the best of both worlds.  They are a classic style with the perfect heel height; not too high and not too low.  The muted lime green is what says "no way will I sell my soul to the establishment"!  (I've had these for years!  And I always get a million compliments.  They are by Imagine by Vince Camuto purchased at Daffy's not sure of the price and not sure of the style name but who cares when they are this fabulous!)

New Year's Resolutions 2012

2012 is here and are you ready for it?  Well, I’m not.  I ate too much, drank too much and basically did everything I wasn’t supposed to do.  Now I am paying for it with tight pants and Miss Piggy feet.  I, like everyone else wrote up my 2012 resolution list.  One of my resolutions is to exercise of course.  So what does a stylish fashionista like myself wear while she is working out?
